This 31 year-old patient presented to Dr. Williams office requesting excision of breast tissue that developed during puberty and never went away. He was very uncomfortable with the way he looked in fitted shirts and when he took off his shirt at the beach or pool despite working out regularly and maintaining a healthy weight. Dr. Williams performed a gynecomastia reduction through an open technique and removed the excess tissue. After the procedure the patient was thrilled with the look of his chest. There was no more breast tissue and the contour of his pecs was greatly improved. Better yet, the scars were hardly visible meaning he was very comfortable removing his shirt.

This patient is 31 years-old and developed a small amount of breast tissue on each side during puberty that never went away. You can see the enlarged, protuberant areolae that was visible through fitted shirts and whenever he removed his shirt. Dr. Williams performed a gynecomastia reduction and removed the enlarged tissue. In the after picture, you can see that the areolae have decreased in size, and the contours of his pec muscles are much improved. Plus, there is no visible scar. More
