This patient is 32 years-old and presented to Dr. Williams' office unhappy with the appearance of her 10 year old saline implants. She stated they have slowly been sliding down her chest resulting in the implants sitting very low and her losing upper breast fullness. Dr. Williams performed an implant exchange from 270 cc saline to 300 cc silicone implants, repaired the pocket dimensions from the inside and then corrected the "bottoming-out" as he removed the excess stretched-out skin in the lower portions of her breast while hiding the scar in her natural breast fold. Post-operatively the implants are now in their proper position, the pockets have been resized and the excess skin is gone resulting in a much better overall aesthetic with significant increase in fullness in the upper breast. The patient was thrilled.

This patient is 32 years-old and had 10 year old saline implants that slowly slid down her chest, stretching out the lower breast skin causing the implants to be too low, the left worse than the right, This is called "bottoming-out" which results in the implant sitting too low and losing the upper breast fullness. Dr. Williams performed an implant exchange with a slightly larger silicone implant, repaired the pocket from the inside and removed the stretched out lower breast skin while keeping the incision hidden in the breast fold. The result is the implant sitting in its proper position on the chest and restoration of the upper breast fullness. More
