About The MIM
Fun for the whole family can be found at the Musical Instrument Museum (MIM) in Phoenix, AZ. Our staff and their families love making a day trip out of touring the MIM and recommend that our music-loving out-of-town patients add it to their travel itinerary. It was named by USA Today as one of the "20 Best Museums for Families Across the USA" in 2014, and is a consistent award winner on Trip Advisor. Just like other museums, the MIM has its own permanent collection of more than 6,000 instruments, many traveling exhibitions throughout the year, interactive musical demonstrations, and special musical concerts for the whole family. It may take more than one visit to see everything at the MIM, but make sure to peruse the Artist Gallery collection where you can see the musical instruments of famous musicians past and present.
